Note: THIS REAR OUTPUT SHAFT HAS THE SMOOTH SECTION WHERE THE METAL SPEEDOMETER DRIVE GEAR GOES AND IS UNIQUE TO THE EARLY CASES. The 73 and after used a plastic speedometer gear that was internally splined.
