NOTE: THIS LOADED MAIN SHAFT HAS SOME RUST ON THE GEARS. IT WILL NEED TO BE CLEANED UP. THERE IS SOME PITTING ON SOME OF THE TEETH OF THE GEARS. SOLD AS FOR PARTS OR NOT WORKING.
Loaded main shaft for your ZF5 S-42 manual transmission.
This was removed from a 1987 F-Super Duty with the driveline parking brake bolted to the rear.
The F-Super Duty uses a 4x4 transmission and 4x4 tail housing to attach to the drive line parking brake.
This will be corrrect for the 4x4 trucks and the F-Super duty that uses the driveline parking brake.
See attached pictures with case tag this loaded main shaft was removed from.
5.72 first gear.
